Fight fans can now re-watch a super slow-motion version of Alex Pereira’s knockout win over Jiri Prochazka at UFC 303 last month in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The combat universe was expecting to see Conor McGregor’s comeback fight against Michael Chandler at UFC 303, but an injury to “Notorious” put UFC matchmakers on the hot seat. That’s when Pereira was called upon to step in as the new headliner and defend his UFC light heavyweight title in a rematch against Prochazka.
Pereira, who has been one of UFC’s biggest stars over the past two years, delivered the goods in the main event with a blistering second-round knockout finish over Prochazka to retain his title. It solidified his hold on the 205-pound division and his status as a bona fide UFC superstar.
Fortunately, the fun didn’t stop there. UFC 303 also featured a co-main event throwdown between featherweight brawlers Diego Lopes and Dan Ige, a monster knockout by middleweight contender Joe Pyfer, and a 19-second masterclass finish by rising bantamweight youngster Payton Talbott.
