One of boxing’s pound-for-pound best fighters today will be back in action tomorrow night (Sat., Aug. 3, 2024) LIVE on ESPN+/DAZN PPV from inside BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, Calif., as undefeated three-division champion Terence Crawford collides with Israil Madrimov for the WBA super welterweight title.
Crawford is currently one of the best fighters in the sport. The 36-year-old veteran has amassed an overall professional record of 40-0 with 31 knockout finishes. This includes recent knockouts over Errol Spence Jr., Shawn Porter, and Kell Brook. In total, “Bud” has recorded 11-straight stoppages inside of the ring.
This weekend, Crawford puts his P4P ranking on the line against Madrimov, who enters this title fight a massive betting underdog. Madrimov is much younger at 29 years of age, but he only has 11 pro fights to his name. The Uzbek fighter is coming off a knockout victory over Magomed Kurbanov this past March to claim the vacant WBA super welterweight crown.
On Friday, Crawford and Madrimov will step on stage for their official weigh in. Fight fans can follow along LIVE in the above video player starting at 9 p.m. ET. The final staredown between “Bud” and Madrimov will be uploaded below:
