Francis Ngannou and Jake Paul have no issues whatsoever, but that didn’t stop the former UFC heavyweight champion from dishing out a savage reality check to “Problem Child” over his upcoming boxing match with Mike Tyson.

In case you haven’t looked in a while, Paul and Tyson are still scheduled to meet inside of the ring this November in a massive boxing event on Netflix. The two were previously booked to fight this past July, but a bad ulcer knocked “Iron Mike” out of commission and delayed his return to action.

While the majority of the combat community is disgusted by the idea of seeing a 58-year-old Tyson go toe-to-toe with a 27-year-old Paul, some are eager to see the matchup given the possibility of “Problem Child” getting knocked out cold. Paul has tasted defeat inside of the boxing ring as he’s worked his way to a 10-1 professional record, but the social media influencer still has yet to overcome true adversity.

It’s possible that Tyson is just too old and too far past his prime to be able to stop Paul, but there’s still a chance the former heavyweight champion channels his old self and puts an absolute beating on “Problem Child.” This is what Ngannou believes will happen after spending some time training with Tyson over the past year. The former UFC champion just doesn’t believe Paul will have enough in the tank to outlast a vastly more experienced and naturally violent Tyson.

Ngannou had no issue telling this to Paul’s face during a recent interview on his podcast. Check it out below:

“Yeah, I do [think he’ll beat your ass],” Ngannou told Paul (via MMA Fighting). “Listen, I have seen Tyson move around just to show me stuff. He was like, ‘This footwork moves like this,’ and I was like hold on, like, calm down (laughs). He’s still got it. Either way, I think Mike Tyson will beat you up.

“We’re talking about Mike, bro. Mike is something else. He’s a specimen.”

“Mike will move from this side to this side without you knowing at exactly which moment,” Ngannou later added. “Everything [you have to watch out for]. Knowing Mike, I just believe that Mike will beat him. It’s not betting against him, it’s just what it is. If he would have been in another circumstance, I’d be like, ‘Okay, let’s go, Jake.’ But this I’m like, ‘Bro, let’s be real.’”
