Dana White turned himself into a Spanish-speaking hologram to welcome fight fans to tonight’s (Sat., Sept. 14, 2024) UFC 306 event live on ESPN+ pay-per-view (PPV) from inside The Sphere in Las Vegas, Nevada.

No, seriously. The UFC CEO turned himself into a hologram.

UFC has spent a ton of money on tonight’s debut show inside Vegas’ illustrious Sphere and that doesn’t just include the action going down inside the venue. Sure the promotion paid out the wazoo for a top-of-the-line production team to actually stage the fights, but there’s also going to be other unique tweaks to the event to make it the greatest in live combat sports history.

Heck, White is even offering up $25,000 to one lucky fan who uncovers hidden clues during the show.

On Saturday night, fight fans who were lucky enough to score a ticket to UFC 306 were welcomed to The Sphere with a weird hologram of White. Instead of his usual pre-fight promotion, the UFC CEO dusted off his Spanish to deliver a message to the Mexican fans. It was a nice (and little creepy) touch to an event that hasn’t even started yet.
