Undefeated boxing sensation Callum Walsh made his Ireland debut earlier today (Fri., Sept. 20, 2024) LIVE on UFC Fight Pass from inside 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland, delivering a vicious second-round knockout finish.

Walsh, who has the full support of UFC CEO Dane White, was coming off a brutal knockout win this past June to push his unscathed professional record to 11-0. The Irish finisher has drawn some early comparisons to Conor McGregor, but “King” competes in a different sport and is trying to forge his own path to greatness.

On Friday, Walsh took the next step forward in his budding boxing career and headlined his first-ever event in Ireland. It was a pretty big deal, as “King” helped fill the 3Arena on a Friday night. His opponent, Przemyslaw Runowski, is a seasoned veteran who brought a 22-2-1 professional record into the ring. Walsh was the betting favorite, but he needed to be careful as his level of competition keeps rising.

Luckily, Walsh did not disappoint. The 23-year-old rising star turned in a tremendous performance as he landed power shots from the opening round. It was only a matter of time before “King” found a home for a fight-ending blow, which came in the second frame in the form of a counter left hand. It connected flush, knocked Runowski to the canvas, and put a stop to the main event matchup.

We’re sure this outing left White proud of his prized fighter, especially with the UFC CEO on the verge of FINALLY working on his transitioning to boxing. Check out the finish in the above video player and an alternate view below:
