The heavyweight clash between Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois later tonight (Sat., Sept. 21, 2024) LIVE on DAZN pay-per-view (PPV) from inside Wembley Arena in London, England, is one of the hottest tickets in town. Anyone and everyone would like to join the 96,000 fans in attendance to witness one of the best heavyweight fights of the year.

Unfortunately, tickets are scarce for the massive event in London, even if you’re a world boxing champion like Devin Haney.

On Saturday, Haney took to social media to expresses his frustration over not scoring a couple of tickets to Joshua vs. Dubois. Haney must have traveled overseas thinking he’d be able to waltz into Wembley Arena and lean on his notoriety to see the fights live, but boxing promoter Eddie Hearn had other ideas.

“Wow I’m n London.. Eddie Hearn won’t give me tickets to the fight but keep mentioning me every chance he get… Eddie the fakest n*gga I ever met bro,” wrote Haney.

He then followed that tweet up with the below:

“He do so much foul sh-t.”

“I respect Bob because he kept it straight business & so did Oscar he wasn’t tryna act like he was my friend & he cared bout me so much.. Eddie act like that then two faced behind yo back!”

Hearn, who is Joshua’s long-time promoter, had no time for Haney’s games. In fact, Hearn responded to “The Dream” during the broadcast of the Joshua vs. Dubois undercard “Prelims.” Check it out below:

“You asked me at 6am this morning. First I look after my fighters. Ask someone else and drop the arrogance.”

Haney has received some sizeable backlash for how he handled his loss to Ryan Garcia earlier this year — which was overturned to a no contest after Garcia tested positive for banned substances — but you would think the former WBC super lightweight champion would still be able to score some tickets to tonight’s affair. Hearn seems like a nice enough guy so maybe it was the way Haney went about it.

Also, who flies across the Atlantic to see a boxing match without knowing for sure you can even get tickets?

Odd to say the least.
