It all goes down later today (Sat., Oct. 19, 2024) at PFL: Battle of the Giants live on ESPN+ pay-per-view (PPV) from inside The Mayadeen in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou makes his return to MMA for a main event clash with PFL heavyweight standout Renan Ferreira.

This will be Ngannou’s first MMA fight since leaving UFC in early 2023 and signing on with PFL. “Predator” has been sharpening his boxing skills against the likes of Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua over the past year, but now he will try to stop a monstrous Ferreira, who is coming off a 21-second knockout finish over Ryan Bader earlier this year.

Luckily for fight fans, the fun doesn’t stop there. This weekend’s PFL card is stacked from top to bottom, including the return of Cris Cyborg and a middleweight title rematch between undefeated champion Johnny Eblen and striker Fabian Edwards. It will be the biggest fight card of the year for PFL and the promotion’s attempt to close the gap with UFC.

Before the action gets underway later today on ESPN+ PPV, a pre-fight show will unfold LIVE and FREE on YouTube beginning at 12:30 p.m. ET. Be sure to catch the action in the above video player and tune in later this evening as Ngannou tries to make a heavyweight splash in his official PFL debut.
