It all goes down tomorrow night (Sat., Nov. 2, 2024) at UFC Edmonton live on ESPN+ from inside Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, as former UFC flyweight champion Brandon Moreno looks to end a two-fight losing streak in a main event clash with surging contender Amir Albazi.
The UFC’s flyweight division is still one of the least popular weight classes around, but it’s beginning to make strides in a positive direction. Adding some notoriety to the division is Moreno, who has fought in six total UFC title fights. Fans know who Moreno is and what he’s capable of doing, but on Saturday “The Assassin Baby” will need to dig his heels deep to stop the red-hot Albazi and his search for his first-ever UFC title shot.
UFC Edmonton will also feature a fairly-stacked card from top to bottom. This includes the likes of former UFC women’s strawweight champion Rose Namajunas, UFC heavyweight knockout king Derrick Lewis, top Canadian prospect Mike Malott, featherweight contenders Jack Shore and Youssef Zalal, and the return of perennial bantamweight contender Pedro Munhoz.
On Friday, all of UFC Edmonton’s fighters stepped on stage for ceremonial weigh ins and one finale staredown. Check out some of the faceoffs below and don’t miss a second of the action tomorrow night in Edmonton!
