Mike Tyson will make another walk to the boxing ring to fight Jake Paul later this evening (Fri., Nov. 15, 2024) LIVE on Netflix from inside AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Tex., but there are a few rules and regulations in place that fight fans should take note.
Considering Tyson’s age and recent medical condition (explicit details HERE), there were a few obstacles to hurdle for this main event matchup to become official. The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) had to determine if Paul vs. Tyson would be a professionally sanctioned bout along with a few other rulesets, but all boxes were checked off and the Netflix spectacle is all clear for takeoff Friday night.
Just don’t ask for official weights or pre-fight physicals because they’ve been locked away.
Fight fans should be excited for Friday’s matchup considering Tyson showed up in phenomenal shape for Thursday’s weigh ins. An unexpected slap by Tyson during his staredown with Paul has created even more buzz heading into tonight, but both fighters will have their chance to deliver the final word (or blow).
