A couple of bouts were announced by Swedish website mmanytt.se earlier today for the upcoming UFC on Fuel TV 2 event set for the Scandinavian country for this coming April.

Meeting in a rematch from 2010 Ross ‘The Real Deal’ Pearson (13-5) will welcome Dennis ‘The Menace’ Siver (19-8) to the featherweight division, while another featherweight match has “TUF 14″ cast member Akira Corassani (9-3, 1NC) taking on Jason ‘Shotgun’ Young (8-5).

UFC on Fuel TV: Gustafsson vs. Nogueira (aka UFC on Fuel TV 2) is scheduled to take place on April 14, 2012 at the Ericsson Globe Arena in the UFC’s first visit to Stockholm, Sweden.

Pearson and Siver first squared off back in March 2010 in a lightweight match as part of UFN 21. Both men would earn the “Fight of the Night” bonus but it would be Pearson who would walk away with a unanimous decision win.

‘The Real Deal’ recently made his featherweight debut at UFC 141 last month, earning a unanimous decision over Junior Assunção. The win put’s the British fighter at 2-1 in his last three bouts.

Siver had a four fight win streak stopped by Donald Cerrone at UFC 137 last October in a one sided bout, which saw ‘The Menace’ beaten and then submitted by ‘The Cowboy’. The loss, appears to be the catalyst for Siver’s move down to 145-lbs after a UFC record of 8-5 at lightweight.

Corassani did not make his UFC debut at the TUF 14 Finale due to a training injury, he had been scheduled to face Steven Siler at the Vegas event but was replaced by Josh Clopton instead. The Swedish fighter dropped his last pro-bout last February via TKO at a local Swedish event ending a seven fight undefeated streak.

Young has made two appearances in the Octagon and has come out on the losing end both times. He suffered decision losses to Michihiro Omigawa at UFC 138 last November and to Dustin Poirier at UFC 131 last June. The back-to-back losses put the English fighter at 2-2 in his last four.
