Tonight was supposed to be the culmination of years of hard work for Sean ‘The Destroyer’ Loeffler (25-5) as the middleweight was set to make his Octagon debut versus Buddy Roberts on the UFC on FUEL TV: Sanchez vs. Ellenberger prelim card.

Breaking news was just announced during the events live prelim broadcast, that Loeffler had injured his right ankle and would not be competing versus Roberts at tonight’s Omaha event.

UFC on Fuel TV: Sanchez vs. Ellenberger takes place tonight (Feb. 15, 2012) at the Omaha Civic Auditorium in Omaha, Nebraska.

The Loeffler vs. Roberts bout was to have been the third scheduled bout for the event, taking place on the prelim card which is streaming live on Facebook/Youtube.

‘The Destroyer’ has won six in a row and is 12-1 in his last thirteen bouts. His last bout took place in September at a Gladiator Challenge event, ending with a seven-second knockout of opponent Marquis McKnight.
