The final bout match for April’s UFC on Fuel TV: Nogueira vs. Gustafsson (aka UFC on Fuel TV 2) event was announced by UFC officials Saturday night, as lightweights Reza ‘Mad Dog’ Madadi (11-2) and Yoislandy ‘Cuba’ Izquierdo (6-0) have verbally agreed to meet at the Swedish event.

Also that night, undefeated lightweight Yoislandy ‘Cuba’ Izquierdo has verbally agreed to make his first UFC fight one against Stockholm’s own Reza ‘Mad Dog’ Madadi. Both fighters had been scheduled to enter the Octagon earlier in the year – though not against each other – but injury and red tape delayed their debuts.

UFC on Fuel TV: Nogueira vs. Gustafsson is scheduled to take place on April 14, 2012 at the Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden and marks the UFC’s first visit to the Scandinavian country.

Madadi had been scheduled to debut at the UFC on FX 1 show in January versus Rofaello Oliveira but was forced out due to injury. ‘Mad Dog’ enters the Octagon on a six fight win streak, having had his last fight in April at a Superior Challenge event in Sweden where he defended his SC lightweight title against Rich Clementi.

Izquierdo also makes his UFC debut after being pulled from a previous event. ‘Cuba’ had been set to meet Bernardo Magalhaes at the UFC on FUEL TV 1 event, but was pulled due to a dispute with a previous mma promotion. He is currently undefeated and recently defeated Patrick Cenoble for the Championship Fighting Alliance title.
