Bellator Fighting Championships heads to the Riverdome in Boisser City, Louisiana tonight for it’s second event of the promotions season six calender.
Tonight’s event features the opening quarterfinals of the middleweight tournament as eight fighters are paired off for a chance to earn a $100,000 contract and a shot at the Bellator middleweight title.
Meeting this season are former UFC vet Maiquel Falcao vs. Norman Paraisy, returning tourny fighter Brian ‘The Predator’ Rogers vs. Vitor Vianna, Giva Santana vs. Bruno Santos, and Vyacheslav Vasilevsky vs. Victor O’Donnel.
The event was to feature a season five heavyweight final between Eric Prindle and Thiago Santos, but an illness to Prindle forced ‘The American Soldier’ off tonight’s card. Both men will meet next Friday as part of Bellator 62 in Laredo, Texas.
Tonight’s live show can be caught streaming live at Spike.com, which includes the prelim bouts, while the main card will air live on MTV2 at 8pm EST (5pm PST).
