The California State Athletic Commission released the official disclosed salaries for this past weekends Strikeforce World Grand Prix Heavyweight Tournament Final on Monday.

Heading the top of the list for earners was heavyweight Josh Barnett ($200,000) who doubled the salary of his opponent Daniel Cormier ($100,000) despite the decision loss. The second top earner was Strikeforce lightweight champ Gilbert Melendez who took in $175,000 with no win bonus for his decision victory versus Josh Thomson ($90,000).

The Strikeforce: Barnett vs. Cormier event took place Saturday (May 19, 2012) at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California with the main card airing on Showtime and the prelim card airing on Showtime Extreme. The total salary for the event was $768,500. No attendance or gate numbers were released by the promotion.
