Whether it’s fighting or playing basketball, Jon Jones is all business when it comes to sports.

On Tuesday, the UFC light heavyweight champion made a guest appearance on ESPN’s SportsNation. There, he entered a three-point shooting contest set up to win a couple of lucky fans tickets to the 2012 ESPY Awards.

The objective of the contest was for Jones to make one basket with a limit of only three attempts.

After missing the entire rim on the first attempt, Jones sunk the second basket to win the contest.

It was a good chance for fans to finally see the champ out and about, despite ongoing legal issues stemming from a DWI incident in May.

The Press & Sun-Bulletin (h/t ESPN.com) is reporting that Jones is expected to be sentenced on July 31.

He will be charged with a misdemeanor for driving while intoxicated in an incident that resulted in him running his 2012 Bentley into a utility pole.
