Former UFC flyweight tournament semifinalist Ian ‘Uncle Creepy’ McCall (11-3-1) has his next fight when he meets promotion newcomer John Moraga (10-1).

The two will step into the cage against one another as part of the UFC on FOX 4 card, expected to take place August 4, 2012 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

The promotion announced the match on Thursday evening at UFC.com.

Ian McCall looks to stay in the flyweight title hunt by taking on a tough opponent in John Moraga on August 4th at UFC on FOX in Los Angeles. Stylistically, it should be an incredible battle between Moraga, an Arizona-based submission specialist making his UFC debut and the dynamic fan favorite McCall, who will get to fight near his Orange County home.

McCall of course, lost his Flyweight semi-final tournament rematch to Demetrious Johnson in the main event of UFC on FX 3 by decision. It now put’s ‘Uncle Creepy’ at 0-1-1 in the Octagon after his draw with ‘Mighty Mouse’ a few months earlier at UFC on FX 2. Before joining the UFC, McCall had been on a four fight win streak.

Moraga enters the Octagon on a four fight win streak having won a decision last month at a Rage in the Cage event versus Maurice Senters. The Arizona Combat Sports and MMA Lab fighter has earned 1 win via (T)KO, five by submission, and four by decision over his pro-career.
