Season fourteen “The Ultimate Fighter” winner Diego ‘Ceara’ Brandao (14-8) will face Joey ‘The Raging Warrior’ Gambino (9-1) at UFC 153 according to a Tweet sent out by the Brazilian on Monday.

The two featherweights should be expected to meet on the preliminary card.

UFC 153: Aldo vs. Koch is expected to occur on October 13, 2012 at the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo is scheduled to defend his title versus Erik Koch at the event, a rescheduling of their original date earlier this month.

Brandao was a member of Team Bisping during season fourteen of the reality series. ‘Ceara’ earned a knockout to make his way into the first ever TUF featherweight final, facing Dennis Bermudez in Las Vegas. Brandao would win the bout by submission to earn the six figure contract, along with the “Submission of the Night” and “Fight of the Night” bonuses. He would then go on to face Darren Elkins at UFC 146 and would lose that match by decision.

Gambino walked into the UFC with a perfect record, and the Cage Fury Fighting Championships title, this past June at UFC on FX 4. ‘The Raging Warrior’ replaced an injured Jimy Hettes to take on Steven Siler at the New Jersey event and would wind up losing by submission in the first round. The loss ended Gambino’s nine-fight win streak and handed the Tristar Gym fighter his first pro-defeat.
