UFC lightweight Tim ‘The Dirty Bird’ Means (18-3-1) will welcome Blackzilians fighter Abel ‘Killa’ Trujillo (9-4) to the Octagon this September when the two meet at UFC 151.
The bout was announced by UFC officials on Wednesday at UFC.com.
Also at that event, lightweight fighter Abel Trujillo will be riding a four-fight win streak as he enters the UFC to face Tim “The Dirty Bird” Means. Means most recently wowed fans with a 66-second knockout of Justin Salas at UFC on FX 3.
UFC 151: Jones vs. Henderson is expected to take place on September 1, 2012 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada and is headlined by a light heavyweight title bout between champion Jon Jones versus Dan Henderson.
Means will carry an eleven-fight undefeated streak into the Octagon when he meets Trujillo. ‘The Dirty Bird’ has earned two victories under the UFC banner, stopping Justin Salas last June at the UFC on FX 3 show in Florida. His other victory came in February of this year at UFC on FUEL TV 1 when he beat Bernardo Magalhaes by decision.
Trujillo enters the UFC on a four fight win streak with a unanimous decision victory under his belt this past June at a local CFA event. With nine pro-victories under his belt ‘Killa’ has won two matches by (T)KO, three by submission and four by decision over his career.
