The Canadian office of the Ultimate Fighting Championship announced an upcoming bout for UFC 154 pitting featherweights Rodrigo Damm (10-5) and Antonio ‘Pato’ Carvalho (14-5) against one another in Montreal.
The announcement was Tweeted (@UFC_CA) on Friday.
UFC 154 is expected to occur on November 17, 2012 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Damm was a cast member of The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil, competing as a member of Team Belfort on the first international TUF reality series. Despite entering his first official UFC bout with a 1-4 record, Damm won his Octagon debut by submitting Anistavio Medeiros at the UFC 147 event. The victory also earned Damm the “Submission of the Night” bonus.
‘Pato’ trains out of Oshawa, Ontario so he will be competing in front of his fellow countrymen when he takes on Damm. Carvalho has gone 1-1 in the Octagon getting his first win last month at UFC 148 with a first round knockout of Daniel Pineda at the Calgary event. The loss in his debut came at the hands of Felipe Arantes at UFC 142 in Brazil.
