The Ultimate Fighting Championship has reportedly signed South Korean Hyun Gyu ‘The Ace’ Lim (10-3) to the roster according to the Korean Top Team who announced the signing on Facebook on Monday.
No opponent was identified for Lim’s expected UFC debut.
Lim joins fellow KTT team member Chan Sung Jung, aka ‘The Korean Zombie’, and Dongi ‘The Ox’ Yang as members of the UFC.
The South Korean fighter dropped down to welterweight from the middleweight division and is currently riding a five fight win streak.
His last fight took place just this past month at a Pacific Xtreme Combat 32 event, earning a first round submission over opponent Ryan Biglar. Lim owns seven finishes via (T)KO, two by submission and one by decision in his pro-career.
Lim’s signing comes in anticipation of the UFC’s upcoming trip to China when the promotion visits Macau on November 10 at the Cotai Arena for UFC on FUEL TV 6.
