On Tuesday evening during FUEL TV’s UFC Tonight program, the location for UFC on FOX 5 was announced for the upcoming lightweight title fight between defending champ Benson Henderson and No. 1 contender Nate Diaz.

The December UFC on FOX 5 event announced last week, which is set to feature a lightweight title fight between champion Benson Henderson and Nate Diaz, now has a confirmed venue. The December 8 televised event will take place December 8 at Seattle’s Key Arena.

Henderson will make his second title defense, having just beaten former champ Frankie Edgar in their back-to-back title rematch, putting ‘Smooth’ at a perfect 5-0 inside the Octagon.

Diaz has won three straight since returning to the lightweight division, earning big wins over Takanori Gomi, Donald Cerrone, and most recently, Jim Miller, to earn the No. 1 contender spot.

Also fighting on the Seattle card will be light heavyweights Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua va. Alexander Gustafsson, and the rescheduled welterweight bout between BJ Penn vs. Rory MacDonald.
