Press Release – LOS ANGELES – Brazil and the Ultimate Fighting Championship® (UFC®) go hand-in-hand, from Brazilian Royce Gracie winning the first-ever UFC tournament to the present day where Brazilians hold three of the seven World Championship belts. FUEL TV celebrates the South American country’s place in the UFC with Brazil Week beginning Monday, August 27 and ending with an all-day marathon of The Ultimate Fighter Brazil on Sunday, September 2 that culminates with the season finale at 10:00 PM ET.
Each day throughout Brazil Week, FUEL TV hosts Brazilian themed interstitials and classic UFC bouts with the country’s fighters such as Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva, Heavyweight Champion Junior dos Santos, and Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo. In addition, FUEL TV airs a number of original spots highlighting Brazilian legends and champions including Royce Gracie, Vitor Belfort, Wanderlei Silva, dos Santos and Anderson Silva.

In addition, FUEL TV premieres UFC Reloaded – UFC 147: SILVA vs. FRANKLIN II on Sunday, Sept. 2 (11:00 PM ET), featuring the UFC’s last venture to Brazil where Wanderlei Silva and former middleweight champion Rich Franklin faced off for the second time, as Silva sought to settle the score after his searing defeat in their first encounter at UFC 99.

HENDERSON on Saturday, September 1; the live Weigh-in and Postfight shows for UFC 152: BENAVIDAZ VS.
