With Friday’s official announcement, a couple of key matchups were added to the Ultimate Fighting Championships January visit to Brazil including the co-main event.

Middleweights C.B. ‘The Doberman’ Dollaway (12-4) and Daniel Sarafian (7-2) are set to co-headline the UFC Brazil: Belfort vs. Bisping event, while lightweights Thiago Tavares (17-4-1) and Khabib ‘The Eagle’ Nurmagomedov (15-0) round out the main card.

The other bout featured on the four-bout main card is a heavyweight title between Gabriel Gonzaga vs. Ben Rothwell.

The unofficially named UFC Brazil: Belfort vs. Bisping event is set to take place on January 19, 2013 in Brazil at a city to be named in the coming weeks.

Dollaway is 1-2 in his last three bouts with a decision victory against Jason ‘Mayhem’ Miller at UFC 146 this past May. The win erased back-to-back losses for ‘The Doberman’ who suffered (T)KO losses to Jared Hamman, at UFC on Versus 5, and to Mark Munoz at UFC on Versus 3.

Sarafian has yet to make his Octagon debut after appearing on TUF Brazil as a member of Team Belfort. He had been scheduled to appear at UFC 147 but was unable to participate due to injury. He carries a four fight win streak into this fight with Dollaway with six submission wins and one via decision in his pro-career.

Tavares will look for his third straight victory in his third straight Octagon appearance in Brazil having won a decision against Sam Stout at UFC 142 and a second round TKO finish of Spencer Fisher at UFC 134. He is 4-1-1 in his last six, with a knockout loss versus Shane Roller, wins over Pat Audinwood and Manny Gamburyan and a majority draw versus Nik Lentz.

Nurmagomedov is perfect in his pro-career with eighteen wins, two of which have taken place in the Octagon. ‘The Eagle’ last saw action in July when he won a decision over Gleison Tibau at UFC 148, while debuting with a submission victory against Kamal Shalorus at UFC on FX 1.
