Also a possibility for the FOX card, is a light heavyweight bout between former title holder Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson (32-10) and rising star Glover Teixeira (19-2). This according to Jackson who posted the notice on Twitter (@rampage4real) earlier today.

Outside the cage I hate no one. Life is too short for that. In side the cage my Job is to destroy! Glover is done on Jan 26 n Chicago..

UFC on FOX 6 is expected to take place January 26, 2012 at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. The main card will air on FOX with the preliminary card airing on FUEL TV.

Johnson captured the flyweight title in September by defeating Joseph Benavidez at UFC 152, while Dodson paved his way to a title shot by stopping Jussier Formiga last month at UFC on FX 5.

Cerrone is coming off a “Knockout of the Night” and “Fight of the Night” one round victory over friend Melvin Guillard at UFC 150 last August. While Cerrone, who has been out recovering from an injury and subsequent surgery, was last in action in Japan in February with a “Knockout of the Night” win over Joe Lauzon.

Jackson and Teixeira were scheduled to fight at UFC 153 in Brazil last month but ‘Rampage’ was forced to withdraw due to injury. Jackson’s last fight was in Japan at UFC 144, losing a decision to Ryan Bader. While Teixeira kept on with the UFC 153 event, finishing Fabio Maldonado via TKO
