A pair of lightweight fighters has been confirmed for Super Bowl weekend in opponents Evan Dunham (13-3) and Gleison Tibau (26-8) who are now scheduled to meet at UFC 156 show in February.

Officials with the promotion announced the bout at UFC.com as well as confirming a flyweight match between Joseph Benavidez and Ian McCall.

Plus, lightweights Evan Dunham and Gleison Tibau will lock horns in a battle of Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belts.

UFC 156: Aldo vs. Edgar is expected to take place on February 2, 2013 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Dunham looks to bounce back from a loss after losing by decision to TJ Grant last September at UFC 152. A positive in the defeat was winning his second straight “Fight of the Night” bonus. That other extra payday came versus Nik Lentz in January at UFC on FOX 2, by finishing the ‘Carney’ via TKO (doctor stoppage). Dunham had been scheduled to face Edson Barboza at UFC 146 in May but was forced out with an injury.

Tibau earned a win over Francisco Tinaldo in October by earning a decision victory at UFC 153 in Brazil. The win put him back on track after his three fight win streak was derailed following a decision loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 148 in July. The three wins in that run included victories against Rafael dos Anjos, Rafaello Oliveira and Kurt Pellegrino.
