Lightweight fighter Tim Means (18-3-1) was in the last day of his weight-cut for tonight’s UFC on FOX 5 official weigh-ins but an unfortunate accident has forced Means off the card.

Means reportedly slipped in the sauna and knocked himself out.

Stepping in on the last day will be Marcus ‘The Prospect’ LeVesseur (22-6) who now faces Abel ‘Killa’ Trujillo (9-4).

UFC president Dana White announced the news via Twitter (@danawhite) this morning.

The UFC curse strikes again. Tim Means slips in sauna and KO’s himself so now Marcus LeVesseur vs Abel Trujillo

UFC on FOX: Henderson vs. Diaz is scheduled for Saturday (Dec. 8, 2012) at the KeyArena in Seattle, Washington. The LeVesseur vs. Trujillo match appear on the televised FX prelim card.

LeVessuer had been scheduled to meet Michael Chiesa on the FOX card but Chiesa was forced out with an illness earlier this week. The amateur wrestling standout earned his first win in the Octagon last October, winning a split decision over Carlo Prater at UFC on FX 5.

Trujillo will make his Octagon debut versus LeVesseur and carries a four fight win streak into this fight. ‘Killa’ earned his last win in June at a CFA 7 show by winning a decision over opponent Frank Carrillo.
