While the other loss, another catchweight fight but it was opponent Dennis Hallman who failed to make weight for the UFC 140 bout. Hallman would go on to win by first round submission.
Cruickshank, a member of Team Faber on The Ultimate Fighter Live, has gone 2-0 inside the Octagon so far and is riding a six fight win streak. He fought last month in Seattle at UFC on FOX 5 in a 158-lbs catchweight bout with Henry Martinez who missed weight. Cruickshank would finish things in the second round with a head kick, knocking Martinez out. His other Octagon win came at the TUF 15 Finale, a decision victory against fellow castmember Chris Tickle.
