Donald Cerrone responds to Conor McGregor’s recent criticisms, and admits he has a ‘weak ass liver’.

Shortly after Donald Cerrone lost to Rafael dos Anjos, the lightweight champ’s next opponent in Conor McGregor didn’t hold back with his criticism. According to the Irishman, the only reason Cowboy can compete often, is because he quits when he gets in trouble.

Cerrone has since addressed the topic while doing a Q&A with fans.

“Conor called me a quitter but I didn’t even get started in that fight,” Cerrone said on a recent periscope session. “So how can you call me a quitter when I got ass whipped before I even got started? That’s what I want to know.”

“Why would you even say that (I’m scared of Conor)? I’m a fighter, that’s what I do. You people are funny. You fans at home crack me up, especially the ones that talk shit.”

Cerrone, who lost his title opportunity in just a minute and six seconds, was asked by a fan about his ‘glass chin’, prompting Cowboy to respond in kind.

“I don’t have a glass chin, it’s a f***ed up liver, you idiot, get it right.” Cerrone replied. “If you’re going to talk shit, at least talk right. My chin has never been tested. It’s my weak ass liver.”

In the end, Cerrone says he’s not about to change his ways.

“Maybe I should quit drinking, but I’m not. Quit partying, but I’m not,” he said. “I live life to the fullest, I f**king drink beer and party and that’s what I do. I enjoy it.”

Cerrone faces Alex Oliveira on Sunday night.

Pacquiao deletes post about gays being ‘put to death’, repeats bible verse on interview

Failed damage control? Manny Pacquiao deleted a post with a bible verse on homosexuals being ‘put to death’, but there’s a separate interview with him repeating the same thing.

Boxer and Philippine congressman, Manny Pacquiao is in a middle of a massive scandal following statements saying that allowing same-sex marriage ‘makes us worse than animals’.

Although he has already issued an apology for the ignorant comparison, Pacquiao was still defending his stance on same-sex relations by quoting bible verses on social media. One of these posts have since been deleted, with the Senatorial candidate quoting Leviticus 20:13 saying that homosexuals are ‘to be put to death’.

Nothing really stays erased online, and unfortunately for the Filipino politician, even multiple mainstream media outlets in the Philippines have highlighted the deleted Instagram post.

The verses Pacquiao quoted states the following: “If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.”

The boxer was in the same exact controversy in 2012, shortly after he became a bible preacher. An appearance in Los Angeles was cancelled because of it, but Pacquiao has vehemently denied quoting the very same Leviticus verse.

“I didn’t say that, that’s a lie,” Pacquiao said back in 2012. “I don’t know that quote from Leviticus because I haven’t read the Book of Leviticus yet.”

Once Pacquiao quoted the same exact verse in 2016, it seems like his camp tried to do some damage control. Unfortunately for them, not only did the erased instagram post still get highlighted on numerous outlets, Pacquiao repeated the same line on an interview that they obviously can’t delete.

Speaking to DZMM after his initial apology, Pacquiao tried to explain that he wasn’t “condemning” being homosexual, just the act of having sexual relations and getting married.

“Yes, it is detestable in God’s eyes,” Pacquiao said in Filipino. “If we just read the bible. I’ll give you a few verses. If we believe God, if we believe the bible — Leviticus 20:13, Leviticus 18:22, and 1st Corinthians 6:9.”

“I don’t believe that all LGBT are going to hell, what I’m saying is it’s ‘the act’ (of having sexual relations with the same sex),” Pacquiao said when asked to elaborate. “They can be together without doing anything, without doing the disgusting act in front of God.”

“Who am I to judge? I am also a sinner like all the ordinary people, but I’m telling the truth,” he said. “We should follow what is written on the bible if we really believe God.”

The Senatorial candidate also went on to say that he would support the death penalty, as it is “biblical”.

Holly Holm on Ronda Rousey’s suicide comments: ‘How do I respond to that?’

Holly Holm addressed recent comments made by Ronda Rousey about contemplating suicide after their UFC bout.

Ronda Rousey bared all on an appearance at the Ellen DeGeneres show, admitting that following her loss to Holly Holm, she ‘was literally thinking of killing myself’. The current champ has been asked about these statements, and Holm admits that she isn’t quite sure how she should respond.

“There’s a lot of things around that. When I heard that she said that, for me it’s one of those things it’s like, ‘How do I respond to that?'” Holm told Sherdog. “I don’t want to say I’m sorry because I think on a competitive level for me, if somebody was to say they’re sorry after [beating me], it’s like, ‘No, I’m a competitor.’ I’m not a charity case.”

“I feel like that’s something the best thing is for me not to say anything at all. I don’t want to say that I’m glad that she felt that way and I don’t want to say, ‘Oh I’m so sorry.’ It’s something I think that you have to dig through on your own. In the long run, she’ll be stronger mentally from it.”

Holm has experience with tough losses. Back in 2011 during her professional boxing days, Holly was knocked out by Anne Sophie Mathis to end a long winning streak. The decorated boxing champ recouped and won a rematch just 6 months later, and ended up winning her last three matches before leaving to focus on MMA full-time.

Holm said a good support system helped her overcome such a tough loss, and while she acknowledges that every situation is different, a part of Holm empathizes with Rousey.

“I hurt for her that she feels that way because that is a very low place. I did have a lot of help around me to where I did not feel that way,” Holm said. “People would say, ‘Oh it’s not the end of the world.’ I was like, ‘Well that’s exactly what it feels like, the end of the world.’”

“When you put your heart and soul into something and it gets shut down devastatingly, it’s terrible. It’s a horrible feeling.”

Manny Pacquiao, a boxing superstar and elected official in the Philippines, has made more controversial statements about same-sex marriage.

Manny Pacquiao doesn’t only have his upcoming retirement bout against Timothy Bradley coming up, he is also running for a Senate seat in the Philippines. The boxing superstar made headlines once again, but this time, for statements made outside the ring.

video has been making the rounds in the Philippines, showing Pacquiao addressing the media and voicing out his controversial stance against same-sex marriage.

“It’s common sense,” the current Sarangani province congressman said in Filipino. “Do you see any animals that go male to male, or female to female?”

“So the animals are even better (than humans),” Pacquiao said with a chuckle. “Because they know how to distinguish from male to male or female to female. Right?”

“Now if we allow male to male or female to female, then that makes us worse than animals.”

While same-sex marriage has yet to be legalized in the Philippines, naturally, Pacquiao’s statements comparing it to animals have caused quite a stir in the country.

It is also worth pointing out that there are countless species (including mammals) that engage in behavior that could be interpreted as homosexual or bisexual of nature. Whether it’s actual sexual activity, courtship, or even parenting, those have all been well documented to happen with same-sex pairs in the animal kingdom.

As for proving with certainty the actual motives, or sexual orientation, of animals that exhibit those behavior, that’s another matter for scientists to figure out. Either way, it exists, and essentially shows how much Manny’s premise isn’t actually “common sense”.

Video: Shamrock trains in pool for Gracie trilogy, Royce mocks him for it

Watch Ken Shamrock train in a swimming pool, and check out how Royce Gracie responded.

Bellator has released their ‘Countdown’ show that previews their upcoming tentpole event featuring Ken Shamrock vs Royce Gracie 3, and Kimbo Slice vs Dada 5000.

Apart from extensive smack talk from the 4 featured fighters, there were a bit of random clips featured like Royce showing off his armory of guns, Dada returning to where he had those street fights, and others. Also among those shots from the Spike TV special, was Shamrock doing some strength and conditioning in a swimming pool. (Watch above starting at the 14:30 mark)

“What can I do that’s going to help me become a better fighter?” Shamrock asked. “This training in the pool, is helping me get that workout in, but not damage my body.”

Royce has since responded to this, throwing another jab at his opponent from social media:

Watch UFC lightweight Joe Lauzon try to stop a fat guy with body shots.

Are fat guys with their natural “body armor” less susceptible to body shot knockouts? UFC lightweight Joe Lauzon tested it out as he spammed big left hooks to the body of one of the guys in his gym.

Lauzon, who has scored knockdowns and KO’s to some of the biggest names in the sport, threw a total of 17 punches to the body. Watch the clip above for the end result.

As the title of the video states, obviously, don’t be dumb, and do not try this at home. Broken ribs and internal injuries are no joke.

Lauzon, who is 25-11 in his career, is known for being one of the most entertaining fighters in the sport and currently holds the record for most post-fight bonuses in UFC history. He has recently stated that he would be interested in facing a fellow fan favorite in Diego Sanchez once he heals up from injuries.
