Jamahal Hill is one of the most active UFC fighters on social media today, which is probably why the former UFC light heavyweight champion found himself wrapped up in a fiery exchange with fights fans over the weekend.

Maybe this is also why “Sweet Dreams” considers himself a UFC villain.

The social media scene in combat sports can be a cruel machine. Fighters quite often find themselves in a war of words with fellow athletes and also fans feeling frisky enough to talk crap to someone they’ll never meet in real life. Hill’s social media activity and willingness to chop it up with some of these stooges leaves him open to more moments of frustration and hostile engagement.

That’s exactly what happened on Saturday when a popular MMA account on Twitter created a post asking fans which UFC fighter makes the most excuses after a loss. Hill’s name was immediately brought up alongside the likes of multiple-time UFC welterweight title challenger Colby Covington and former UFC bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley.

Hill, who notably claimed Alex Pereira used a “confusing moment” to land a “weak sh-t” knockout at UFC 300, quickly jumped in the discussion to defend himself. As you might expect, “Sweet Dreams” was a bit emotional in his response. He also asked fight fans to name the excuses he has made in the past (which we already did right HERE).

“Yet nobody can name the excuses they are claiming I’m making!!!” wrote Hill. “Y’all are just dick riding haters that want to feel like your on the level of somebody you can’t fw in any aspect of life!!”

What do you think, Maniacs? Does Hill deserve to be at the top of this list or is there another UFC fighter that takes the cake?

‘Caveman’ Cormier Turned To Starvation And Abstinence During UFC Career

Daniel Cormier is one of the most successful fighters to ever step foot inside of the Octagon, but it wasn’t always easy for the former UFC double champion to compete at the highest level in combat sports.

Despite his high-level wrestling background and incredible success under the Strikeforce banner, fight fans didn’t know exactly how good “DC” would be until he made his UFC debut in 2013. He would go on to produce a 11-3 UFC record, capture titles in both the light heavyweight and heavyweight divisions, defend each belt at least once, and earn victories over the likes of Anderson Silva, Stipe Miocic, Alexander Gustafsson, Anthony Johnson, Frank Mir, Dan Henderson, and Derrick Lewis. His only career losses came against the aforementioned Miocic and all-time great, Jon Jones.

With so much success inside of the cage you might think Cormier had everything on lock during his tenure with UFC. That might be the furthest thing from the truth. In reality, Cormier struggled to put himself in the right mindset to try to hurt another human being. He was forced to turn to starvation and abstinence to keep him on the right path.

“I tried to recreate that caveman sh-t in me every fight,” explained Cormier during a recent submission to his YouTube channel. “Abstain from sex for like a month. Don’t eat past like 2 pm in the afternoon.

“Literally just starving because when you’re hungry your mind goes to a place like, ‘If I had to go and kill something to eat right now, I would do it’. You can put yourself in almost a caveman mindset where you take all the pleasures of life that we as men love so much.

“Food, women, those things that you take it away from yourself and by the time you get in there with that dude you’re like, ‘Yo! You’re the reason I didn’t get to do this. You’re the reason I’m hungry,” he concluded.

Cormier, 45, has been retired from MMA since a trilogy loss to Miocic back in Aug. 2020. Since then, the former UFC double champion has been making a living through his UFC commentary, which some fight fans could do without. In any case, it’s interesting to hear how Cormier had to mentally and physically prepare himself for a fighting career that was already above most.

Cerrone Brutally Fact Checked After Comparing Istanbul To India

Donald Cerrone is catching some heat after comparing Istanbul to India during an in-depth explanation of his recent hair transplant surgery.

This year has been a wild one for “Cowboy” as the fan favorite announced his planned return to UFC in 2025. It’s unknown at this time who Cerrone will fight in his Octagon comeback, but fans are torn over his return. That’s because Cerrone is 41 years old and coming off a solid two years of steroid use. Fight fans don’t know what to think.

What’s even more confusing is Cerrone’s new look. After recently receiving a hair transplant that took care of his baldness it’s difficult to recognize “Cowboy” compared to what he used to look like. It’s hard to blame the former UFC contender because most would do the same if they had the money and time to do it, but others are hating on his decision.

The other issue fight fans are having is the fact that Cerrone accidentally compared Istanbul, Turkey to India while discussing his hair transplant. Cerrone thought he was going to be getting hair plucked out of his head on the side of the round, but in reality Istanbul is the largest city in Turkey and a hub of world-class facilities. Nothing like what Cerrone would have encountered on the streets of India.

Check out his comments below:

“I got it locked down right now [in] Turkey Istanbul,” said Cerrone. “I could tell anyone now Hair Time is the company I went with. It’s world-class… Like the hospital’s world-class, the facilities world-class, [and] the hotel five star [and] everything about it.”

“I’m thinking [that] I’m going to Istanbul, Turkey like watching things on social media. Little Indian guys stirring making Hamburger sandwiches. That’s the place I think I’m going,” added Cerrone. “In my mind I’m thinking Istanbul is going to be a lot like India and it’s going to be just some dude pulling one dude’s tooth on the side of the road [and] me getting hair plugs next to him.”

After hearing Cerrone compare Istanbul to India fight fans came out in droves to fact check “Cowboy” and throw some shade in his direction. Check out some of the backlash below and let us know if you think it’s warranted:

“This level of ignorance.”

“Americans don’t understand how much nicer other parts of the world are (if you have money).”

“Hates muslims but goes to Muslims countey for surgery. Average american intelligence.”

“Americans geography education is horrendous. Turkey is in europe and no where near India. I don’t know how this dumb ass thought Istanbul was going to be like India. Turkey is a major holiday destination in europe with several famous beach towns.”

“Is georgraphy an optional elective in US?”

“At least he knows now.”

“I’d rather be bald than have that ridiculous looking hairline. Dude should get a refund.”

“Being this willfully dumb and ignorant but also being successful is so funny to me lol.”

“Give him another concussion.”

“What a moron.”

“Yo this is the typical American level of understanding of the world, no joke. This is a well travelled man as well. Don’t get me wrong I love cowboy but this is telling AF.”

Conor McGregor playfully grappled his son over the holiday break and fight fans absolutely lampooned the UFC superstar after “Notorious” was tapped out.

It’s no secret that McGregor has had a rough end to the year. This includes having his UFC return canceled back in June due to a broken pinky toe, losing a sexual assault lawsuit in civil court back in November, and then subsequently getting dropped from sponsors like Proper Twelve and the “Hitman” video game franchise. All in all, 2024 has not been the best for “Notorious.”

As most do, McGregor tried to enjoy some valuable family time to close out the year and do his best to ring in 2025 in style. This led to a friendly grappling match with his seven-year-old son. Conor Jr. has been training since he was a small child, but he’s obviously not on a level to actually tap his father.

However, McGregor did what any dad would do and let his son grab a hold of an armbar. McGregor pretended to fight for a second or two before tapping out and giving his son the victory. It was a nice moment in front of the Christmas tree, but it left McGregor open for a plethora of negative comments on social media.

Check out the video above via McGregor’s Instagram and all of the best reaction from fight fans below via X:

“McGregor is finished even my cat can handle him.”

“Make that the fifth time he’s tapped.”

“Tap machine.”

“Why didn’t he just lift up his arm and slam him? Would’ve been an easy KO smh.”

“Conor tapping to his son’s armbar is legendary.”

“Should send his son to Dagestan.”

“Bro got tapped out by a kid. imagine what a ufc fighter would do to him if he actually came back.”

“Tap like chicken.”

“Conor was never good.”

“Teaching him how to tap.”

Video! ‘Thug Nasty’ Leaves Eddie Bravo In Shock And Awe

Bryce Mitchell has proven to be one of the best grapplers in the UFC’s talent-rich featherweight division, but what he did in a recent training session left one Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coach in shock and awe.

Over the years, “Thug Nasty” has relied on his wrestling skills and submission chops to slice through some pretty dangerous competition at 145 pounds. He won eight out of his first nine professional fights by way of submission before making his UFC debut back in 2018. Mitchell hasn’t been able to finish as often as he’d like, but his grappling skills have still been his biggest asset to date.

His lone UFC submission thus far was a spectacular twister finish over Matt Sayles back in 2019. It was only the second twister in UFC history and a massive performance that launched “Thug Nasty” up the featherweight ladder. Mitchell would go on to win his next three fights before running into future champion Ilia Topuria at UFC 282 in December 2022 and losing via submission.

While Mitchell is only 2-2 in his last four trips to the Octagon he’s still highly respected as a top-level grappler, especially when you look back at his incredible twister finish. What makes Mitchell’s twister abilities even more impressive is that he’s still refining the attack to this day. During a recent grappling session alongside 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu founder, Eddie Bravo, Mitchell demonstrated a new technique that pleasantly surprised the entire room.

Check it out below:

“What!?” shouted Bravo. “I would have never figured that out.”

Video! Bisping Removes Fake Eye, Leaves Podcasters Horrified

It’s no secret that former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping currently has one eye from his fighting days, but seeing “The Count” take his eyeball out is still a dramatic experience for most.

Earlier this week, Bisping joined the JAXXON Podcast and ended up discussing his impaired vision in detail. Remember, Bisping suffered a detached retina at the hands of a Vitor Belfort head kick back in 2013. He experienced additional issues following that incident and ended up getting a fake eye to cut his losses, but still continued his fighting career.

Fight fans didn’t even know about Bisping’s fake eye until the end of his UFC tenure. That’s because the former UFC champion went out of his way to hide the impairment from doctors during pre-fight medical exams for 11 total bouts. It probably wasn’t the safest choice for Bisping and his one good eye, but “The Count” is a fighter at heart and wasn’t going to call it quits.

Ironically, Bisping was joined on this week’s JAXXON Podcast by former opponent, Luke Rockhold. As the panel started to ask Bisping questions about his fake eye the current UFC color commentator decided to pop it up on the spot. This left Rockhold and the rest of the podcast members squirming in the studio. It was pretty gnarly, but a stark reminder of what the fight game can do to even the best of fighters.

Check out Bisping’s eye removal below:

“I knocked you out with one f—king eye before we even start,” Bisping told Rockhold during the short clip.
