Jessica Aguilar’s first fight for the World Series of Fighting will be for the WSOF gold.

Aguilar squares off against Alida Gray for the inaugural strawweight title at WSOF 8 on Jan. 18, 2014 in Hollywood, Fla.

Aguilar, who is 16-4 overall, has won seven straight fights.

Gray is 4-0 in her MMA career. She will be making her WSOF debut as well.

Justin Gaethje will square off against Lewis Gonzalez in the main event for the inaugural lightweight title.

A welterweight clash between Stephen Thompson and Robert Whittaker is slated for the upcoming UFC 170 card on Feb. 22 in Las Vegas, according to UFC Tonight on Wednesday.

Thompson has won three of his four fights, including a second-round knockout win over Chris Clements at UFC 165.

Whittaker has won two of his three UFC fights, but lost to Court McGee via split decision at UFC Fight Night 27 this past August.

A light heavyweight fight between Rashad Evans and Daniel Cormier will headline the event.

UFC 169: Two more fights have been added to the Newark card on Feb. 1. A lightweight contest pits Rashid Magomedov (15-1) against Tony Martin (8-0). Both fighters will be making their UFC debuts. Also, a weltwerweight contest between Neil Magny and Gasan Umalatov. Magny has lost two of his last three fights, while Umalatov (14-2) will be making his UFC debut.

UFC 171: Flyweights Darrell Montague and Will Campuzano will battle at the event on March 15 in Dallas. Montague was knocked out in his UFC debut at UFC 166 this past October. Campuzano lost in his UFC return, falling via unanimous decision to Sergio Pettis at UFc 167.

A pair of middleweight bouts have been slated for the upcoming UFC Fight Night 37 fight card on March 8, 2014 in London, England.

Luke Barnatt will square off against Mats Nilsson, while Brad Scott will face Claudio Henrique da Silva at the event.

Barnatt is 2-0 in his UFC career. He defeated Andrew Craig via submission in a Fight of the Night performance at UFC Fight Night 30 this past October. Nilsson (11-2-1) will make his UFC debut.

Another fighter who will make his UFC debut will be da Silva (9-1), who has won nine straight fights. Scott is 1-1 in the UFC, defeating Michael Kuiper via submission at UFC Fight Night 30.

A light heavyweight match between Alexander Gustafsson and Jimi Manuwa will headline the event.
