A welterweight clash between Mike Pyle and T.J. Waldburger has been added to UFC 170 on Feb. 22, 2014 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.

UFC officials confirmed a report from the Las Vegas Sun.

Pyle has won four of his last five fights, but he lost to Matt Brown via first-round KO at UFC Fight Night 26 this past August.

Waldburger has won three of his past five fights. He was also knocked out in his last trip to the Octagon. Adlan Amagov defeated Waldburger via first-round KO at UFC 166 this past October.

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans will face Daniel Cormier in the main event.

In the main event, Barb Honchak retained her flyweight title with a unanimous decision win over Leslie Smith. Lauren Murphy captured bantamweight title after Miriam Nakamoto suffered a knee injury in the co-main event.

The UFC on FOX 9 fight card is headlined by a rematch between flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson and Joseph Benavidez at the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, Calif. on Saturday night.

Urijah Faber will square off against Michael McDonald in the co-main event.

Mark Hunt’s instant classic with Bigfoot Silva was a painful one as well.

The heavyweight broke his hand in two places, according to a tweet by UFC president Dana White on Sunday afternoon.

Hunt , who will appear on The MMA Hour on Monday, also revealed his x-rays on Facebook on Sunday, showing it was his left hand that suffered the break.

Hunt and Bigfoot battled to a draw in the main event of UFC Fight Night 33.

Invicta FC 7 will only have two title fights.

Claudia Gadelha has withdrawn from her strawweight title fight against champion Carla Esparza because of a bacterial infection, according to a press release.

“Claudia ran a high fever late Friday evening and went to the hospital where she was diagnosed with a bacterial infection in her intestines,” said Shannon Knapp, President Invicta Fighting Championships, in a statement.  “We know Claudia wanted this title opportunity more than anything and all of us at Invicta wish her a speedy recovery.

“Tonight’s PPV will go on as planned with two world championship fights and a stacked undercard.” 

The two title fights left on the card are champion Barb Honchak defending her flyweight title against Leslie Smith, and Lauren Murphy and Miriam Nakamoto will fight Lauren Murphy for the inaugural strawweight title.

The Invicta FC 7 undercard will be streamed at 8 p.m. ET, while the pay-per-view will begin at 9 p.m. ET.

On FOX Sports Live on Wednesday night, UFC president Dana White says he “probably” would have a talk with former UFC light heavyweight champion Shogun Rua or see if he wants to drop to 185 pounds if he loses to James Te Huna on Friday.
