UFC champion Jon Jones has landed another top sponsor, Gatorade, before his UFC 165 showdown against Alexander Gustafsson.

Jones will have the Gatorade logo on his fight shorts when he attempts to earn his record-breaking sixth title defense as a light heavyweight Saturday night.

“It’s great that a company like Gatorade sees the value that their products bring to MMA athletes,” Jones said in a statement. “They’re one of the biggest brands in sports worldwide, and I am honored to have their support moving forward.”

Two more fights have been added to the upcoming UFC on FOX 9 card on Dec. 14 in Sacramento.

Joe Lauzon will square off against Mac Danzig in a lightweight contest, while Scott Jorgensen will face Ian McCall in a flyweight contest, according to UFC officials Tuesday.

Lauzon has only won one of his last four fights, including suffering back-to-back unanimous decision losses against Jim Miller and Michael Johnson in his last two Octagon appearances. Danzig has also lost three of his last four fights, falling to Takonori Gomi via split decision and Melvin Guillard via second-round KO in his last two outings.

Jorgensen has lost three of his four fights, losing to Urijah Faber via submission (rear-naked choke) at the TUF 17 Finale this past April. McCall has lost two of his last three fights, but he defeated Iliarde Santos via unanimous decision at UFC 163 last month.

Anthony Pettis will defend his UFC lightweight title for the first time against Josh Thomson in the main event.

A heavyweight clash between Soa Palelei and Pat Barry has been scheduled for UFC Fight Night 33, according to UFC officials Friday night.

Palelei was ripped after his “embarrassing” UFC return, a win against Nikita Krylov, by UFC president Dana White, but Palelei said he suffered a “excruciating” rib injury before the fight.

Barry has lost three of his last five fights and was knocked out in the first round by Shawn Jordan at UFC 161 in his last trip to the Octagon.

UFC Fight Night 33 will be held Dec. 7 at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Australia. A heavyweight fight between Mark Hunt and Antonio Silva will be the main event.
