MMA Fighting has Glory 3 results for the Glory event Saturday at the PalaLottomatica arena in Rome, Italy.

The event is an eight-man, one night tournament where the champion will get $300,000. Giorgio Petrosyan is the favorite to win it all.

Phil Davis will face former light heavyweight champion Forrest Griffin at UFC 155 on Dec. 29 in Las Vegas, the UFC announced Friday.

Griffin was originally scheduled to face Chael Sonnen at the year-end event, but Sonnen was tapped to become a coach on the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter against Jon Jones.

Davis recently defeated Wagner Prado via an anaconda choke submission in the second round at UFC 153 on Oct. 13. Davis is 4-1 (with one no-contest) in his last six fights.

Griffin hasn’t fought since defeating Tito Ortiz via unanimous decision at UFC 148 on July 7, 2012. He is 3-3 in his past six fights.

The fight is slated to be on the main card of the event. A heavyweight clash between Junior dos Santos and Cain Velasquez is expected to be the main event.
