Former UFC heavyweight ‘Big Sexy’ Sean McCorkle debuted with Bellator Fighting Championships on Friday night, defeating opponent Richard White via first round submission at Bellator 60. This interview, taken before the bout, has McCorkle talking about cutting weight, fighting his way back into the “big show” before he gets to old, and much more.

McCorkle fought in a 280-lbs catchweight bout at the Bellator show. ‘Big Sexy’ walks around over 300-lbs, so his weight-cuts to 265-lbs fighting as a heavyweight in the UFC took a lot out of him. Fighting at catchweight bouts since his release, McCorkle is now 6-0 finishing all of his opponents by submission in the first round.
