This Saturday night a much anticipated UFC light-heavyweight matchup will feature former champions Quinton “Rampage” Jackson (30-8) and Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida (16-1) will meet in the main event of UFC 123: Rampage vs. Machida.
Both men will meet Saturday, Nov. 20th, at The Palace of Auburn Hills in the Detroit suburb of Auburn Hills, Michigan.
Jackson is looking to bring fans an exciting match with Machida after his recent loss to Rashad Evans, a fight “Rampage” called “boring.”
Now he’ll step into the octagon against another former champion who is looking for his chance to fight for the title once again. Machida is known as one of the least struck fighters in the UFC because of his elusiveness, and Jackson doesn’t plan on playing the “dog catcher” by chasing his opponent around the octagon.
“I am gonna bring a whole lot of Rampage. Machida is known for running round the cage and stuff like that, being real… elusive. I don’t play that shit. I don’t chase people round. I ain’t no dog catcher. “
