The latest World Extreme Cagefighting event, “WEC 50: Cruz vs. Benavidez” is already underway with the preliminary card. The event is taking place at The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The main card will begin at 9 PM EST (6PM PST) and will be broadcast live on the Versus network.

The main event features a WEC bantamweight title bout between champion Dominick Cruz, who defends his title for the first time, will face Joseph Benavidez in a rematch of their August 2009 bout. The co-main event has WEC lightweights Shane Roller taking on Anthony Pettis.
