A day in the life of Jeff Monson, Part 7 – Monson’s worst competition experience

Press Release – Most people know MMA’s favorite anarachist, Jeff “The Snowman” Monson from his fights, but there is much more to Monson that smashing his fists into other people’s jaws, as we learn in the sixth episode of this eight-part documentary series created exclusively by Kimurawear!

Monson, who made his long-anticipated Strikeforce debut against Daniel Cormier this past weekend at the second round of the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix, spoke with MMA event commentator and “The Voice of MMA in South Florida” Jen Boronico about one of the worst competition experiences he has ever had – grappling “Pe de Pano”. The pair met at the finals of The Arnold Classic to end their trilogy of grappling matches with a $5,000 purse at stake. Monson and Pe de Pano made an agreement to split the prize, but things went awry and ended up leading into a huge brawl on the mats between American Top Team and the Gracies!

Stay tuned next week for the final episode in this series, where Monson takes long time sponsors’ slogan to a next level, “Making Extreme a Life,” as he gets the Kimurawear Brand Logo tattooed on his body as a show of ultimate respect to the World’s #1 Extreme Sports Brand.
