The Ultimate Fighting Championship announced a bantamweight bout for the upcoming UFC on FUEL TV 4 event, pitting Alex ‘Bruce Leeroy’ Caceres (6-5) against Damacio ‘The Angel of Death’ Page (15-7).

A bantamweight scrap has been verbally agreed to between Damacio “The Angel of Death” Page and TUF fan favorite Alex “Bruce Leeroy” Caceres for the July 11 FUEL TV fight card. Both fighters are known for their fast-paced, dramatic wars and the match-up should make this yet another barn-burner.

The promotion also confirmed Rafael Dos Anjos as the replacement for injured Paul Tayor in a lightweight bout versus Anthony Njokuani.

UFC on FUEL TV: Munoz vs. Weidman (aka UFC on FUEL TV 4) is expected to take place on July 11, 2012 at HP Pavilion in San Jose, California.

Caceres is 1-1 in his last two bouts but is just 1-3 since debuting in the Octagon last year. The exciting Florida fighter fought this past February at UFC 143, losing a split decision to Edwin Figueroa after being docked two points by referee Herb Dean for two groin kicks. ‘Bruce Leeroy’ won his only Octagon appearance, making his bantamweight debut, in November of last year at UFC on FOX 1, by winning a decision versus Cole Escovedo.

Page is 0-3 in his last three bouts and has yet to earn a win inside the Octagon after two appearances. Despite a “Fight of the Night” bonus earning match versus Brad Pickett at UFC on FUEL TV 2, Page was forced to tap in the second round due to a rear-naked choke submission. It was the third straight fight Page was forced to tap which also includes a loss to Brian Bowles at UFC on Versus 3 and to Demetrious Johnson at WEC 52.
