Alexis Dufresne is no longer on the UFC roster.
A 25-year-old bantamweight from Temecula, Dufresne (5-2) was released from the UFC following a one-sided loss to Marion Reneau at UFC 182 on Jan. 3, sources close to the situation told MMAFighting.com.
Dufresne signed with the UFC after finishing Kim Couture in 45 seconds in a 150-pound bout in Mexico, but failed to cut down to 135 pounds for both of her fights in the Octagon, weighing-in at 143 pounds for her unanimous decision loss to Sarah Moras at TUF 19 Finale, and 138 pounds for her bout with Reneau.
Prior to her run in the UFC, Dufresne finished all of her opponents in the first round.
