Ultimate Fighting Championship officials announced on Twitter (@UFC) that the five remaining preliminary bouts for UFC 129: St-Pierre vs. Shields would stream live for free on at Facebook.com/UFC.
UFC 129 will take place on April 30 at Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario and is expected to host the largest mixed martial arts event in North American history with 55,000 fans in attendance.
Included on the Facebook stream are welterweights Claude “The Prince” Patrick (13-1) vs. Daniel “Ninja” Roberts (12-1), bantamweights Ivan “Pride of El Salvador” Menjivar (21-8) vs. Charlie Valencia (12-6), middleweights Jason “The Athlete” MacDonald (24-14) vs. Ryan Jensen (15-7), lightweights John “The Bull” Makdessi (8-0) vs. Kyle Watson (13-6-1), and featherweights Yves “Tiger” Jabouin (15-6) vs. Pablo “The Scarecrow” Garza (10-1).
The Facebook stream begins at 6PM EST (3PM PST), with the Spike TV “UFC Prelims” special starting at 8PM EST (5PM PST), and the new pay-per-view start time of 9PM EST (6PM PST).
