It appears that Conor McGregor’s injured pinky toe is doing better and he’s gearing up for his official return to action.

In case you missed it, McGregor was removed from his long-awaited comeback fight against Michael Chandler at UFC 303 this past June due to a broken toe. It was the first time “Notorious” ever pulled out of a UFC fight so fans were thinking it was something serious. The injury ended up being a pinky toe. Fellow fighters gave McGregor some serious flack for pulling out, but the Irish superstar wanted to enter his comeback fight without issue.

McGregor’s recovery has been fairly undocumented to this point which has put his return on ice. UFC still plans to book “Notorious” against Chandler sometime this year, but UFC CEO Dana White has gone on record saying he wouldn’t discuss anything until McGregor is completely healed.

Well, it now looks like McGregor is closer than ever to being fully healthy and able to re-book is massive comeback.

On Saturday, the former UFC double champion took to social media to post a video showing himself running down the street without issue. Remember, McGregor told SevereMMA just three weeks ago that he could barely put a shoe on after breaking his toe. This seems like a drastic improvement for McGregor and a good sign that he’s gearing up for his official return.
