A late addition to the card, the match pits two of the toughest talents in the division once again.

Angela Hill has been the busiest strawweight in the UFC, notching 8 fights in two years. And despite having two disappointing close losses to divisional dynamos Michelle Waterson and Claudia Gadelha, she’s back in the saddle this weekend against California’s Ashley Yoder.

Hill (12-9) had a great three-fight win streak in that eight-fight run, which included a doctor stoppage over the very strong Ariane Carnelossi and a barnburner against razor-sharp striker Loma Lookboonme. Pandemic or not, she’s starting early to be on track for another year where she fights more than four times.

This fight will be a rematch of their 2017 tilt in which Hill won by decision in a fairly gritty affair. Hill’s gone on to take every fight thrown her way and make the most of them, sharpening up her skillsets and having some very exciting bouts. Meanwhile, Yoder (8-6) has gone 3-3 since her loss to Hill, with wins against Syuri Kondo and Amanda Bobby Brundage (formerly Cooper). Her last fight was a decision win over Miranda Granger.

While Hill has been very animated with each upcoming matchup in her desire to batter her opposition, she’s actually being kind to Ashley in this one. Here was her announcement on social media:

This bout will also be scheduled as the main card opener.

UFC Vegas 20 airs this Saturday with prelims starting at 5:00pm. This event will be streaming live on ESPN+.
