The People’s GOAT Artem Lobov will be back in action, this time in a wheelchair boxing match for charity.
A little less than a month since he announced his retirement, Artem Lobov will be back inside the boxing ring. But this time, he’ll be taking on fellow UFC veteran Paddy Holohan in a wheelchair boxing match for charity.
Irish comedian Stevo Timothy broke the news on social media. Timothy will be part of the same event on September 11th in Galway, Ireland, and will take on Olympian Paddy Barnes.

The 35-year-old Lobov had quite a loaded MMA career which involved a total of 30 fights in a span of eight years. He entered the UFC in 2015 through the 22nd season of the Ultimate Fighter as part of Conor McGregor’s team. And while he did have a lackluster run with a 2-5 record, he still managed to draw fan attention for himself. He closed out his MMA career with a record of 13-15-1 (with 1 NC).
Lobov transitioned to bare-knuckle boxing in 2019, where he has a record of 2-2. His last fight happened under Mahatch FC in June in Ukraine, where he lost via fourth-round TKO to Olympic boxing silver medalist Denys Berinchyk.
Holohan, on the other hand, holds an MMA record of 12-2-1 (3-2) in the UFC. After his career ended in 2015, he had since transitioned to a political career. He was elected to the South Dublin County Council in 2019 but was removed from his previous political party Sinn Fein for some controversial comments he made on his podcast.
