UFC 235 has lost a bantamweight bout from its lineup as it was revealed on Wednesday morning. The Las Vegas-based promotion confirmed in a statement that Frankie Saenz vs. Marlon Vera in a 135 lbs scrap has been nixed from the fight card.
This unfortunate news was announced on UFC.com in the following statement after Vera went down to an illness. As a result, the event will move forward with 12 bouts and Sanez will not get a new opponent.
