Brazilian Wagnney Fabiano (14-3) had been set for his Bellator Fighting Championship debut, competing in the promotions season six featherweight tournament against British striker Ronnie Mann on March 9.

Unfortunately for Fabiano, the BJJ black belt was forced to withdraw from the event due to injury.

Replacing him will be Bellator sophomore Mike Corey (11-2-1) who now joins the other six featherweight quarterfinalists in the bid to capture the $100,000 contract and a shot at the belt.

Bellator 60 takes place on March 9, 2012 at The Venue at Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Indiana. The five bout main card airs live on MTV2, while the five bout prelim card is expected to stream live at Spike.com.

Corey drops to featherweight after debuted with Bellator last November as a lightweight, fighting Canada’s Chris Horodecki to a majority draw at the Bellator 57 event. Previous to that Corey had won five straight and is 9-1 dating back to 2006.

Mann lost in the semifinals of Bellator’s Summer Series tournament last July, losing a decision to current No. 1 contender Pat Curran. The Brit would come back though, earning a first round submission finish of Kenny Foster in October at the Bellator 53 event.
