Bellator 192 “Lima vs. MacDonald” takes place Jan. 20, 2018 at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif. Headlining this “tent pole” event is a Welterweight title match between two time and current champion Douglas Lima (29-6) and No. 1 contender Rory MacDonald (19-4).
There are many other huge matches on this Cali card but one that’s drawing significant attention features former UFC stars Chael Sonnen (30-15-1) and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson (37-12).
Jackson and Sonnen are slated to kick off the Heavyweight Grand Prix in the first bout of an eight man tournament to crown a new champion. The next round of the bracket will see Matt Mitrione (12-5) and Roy “Big Country” Nelson (23-14) fight on Feb. 16th in a rematch five years in the making.
First up though all eyes are on “The American Gangster” and “Rampage” in part one of this three part series from Bellator MMA and Paramount Network to promote the opening round fight.
