Bloody Elbow is the place to be for live results and full play-by-play of Bellator 219 from Temecula.

Join us tonight on Bloody Elbow for live results and detailed play-by-play as Bellator 219 comes to the Pechanga Resort and Casino in good old Temecula, CA.

The headliner for the card was supposed to be Andrey Koreshkov vs. Lorenz Larkin, but a Larkin injury scuttled that. Instead, we’ll get Saad Awad vs. Brandon Girtz at lightweight.

The prelims will be streamed live here on Bloody Elbow, starting at 8pm ET. Apparently the postlims will be streams as well, starting at 11pm ET. The main card will start at 9pm and airs on both the Paramount Network and DAZN.

Saad Awad vs. Brandon Girtz

Round 1 – Girtz with a hard, wide combo. Inside leg kick. Girtz with a right hook that stuns Awad. He fires back but eats another shot that puts him down. Girtz swarms bu Awad holds on in guard and is still alive. He rolls out and gets up. Girtz with an uppercut. Awad has a cut over his right eyebrow. He jumps in with big punches but Girtz clubs him right back and Awad is forced to clinch. Knee from Girtz. They separate halfway through the round. Awad with an outside leg kick. Awad wades in with a right hook. Combo from Awad and he backed away from the counter. Girtz resets. Body shot from Girtz. Front kick from Girtz. Girtz with a wild right hook. Jump knee from Awad. 10-9 Girtz.

Round 2 – Girtz with an immediate overhand right. Awad wading in with punches. Awad with a front kick, but Girtz clubs him with the right again. Another. Awad caught a kick and Girtz kind of fell on him, but they reset quickly. Girtz is just throwing fire. Awad with a hard straight right. Girtz with a counter right. Body kick. Awad with a right. Awad misses with a right, but the next one connects. Big knee! Girtz gives him a nod after he lands clean. Good round. 10-9 Girtz.

Round 3 – Girtz shoots in but gets nowhere. Girtz swings and misses. Awad trying to kick. Awad lands to the body and head. Girtz gets Awad down and is landing huge shots to the side of the head. Awad is just covering up. Girtz with the oil check. Awad is back up. He’s pressing. Awad with a counter right. Both men chucking knuckles. Awad is fired up. Awad with two rights. Girtz looks hurt! 10 second clapper! Girtz fires back! That was a hell of a fight! 10-9 and 30-27 Girtz.

Brandon Girtz defeated Saad Awad via unamimous decision (29-28, 30-27, 29-28)

Shane Kruchten vs. Daniel Straus

Round 1 – Inside leg kick from Kruchten. Straus returns it. Straus wades in with a left and looks for a takedown. Kruchten reverses against the cage. Straus gets a takedown. But he lets him up. Body kick from Kruchten. Straus with a counter left that drops Kruchten. He gets behind and sinks a choke. He gets the tap.

Mike Jasper vs. Andrey Koreshkov

Round 1 – Koreshkov cracks Jasper with a low outside leg kick. He spins. Another leg kick. Jasper trying to jab but he’s out of range. Koreshkov with a beautiful spinning back kick to the chest. More low kicks and he spins again. Rinse, repeat. Head kick from Koreshkov is caught by Jasper, but Koreshkov lands some punches inside so Jasper lets go of it. Koreshkov counters and Jasper slips on it. The Russian clinches. Hard shot inside, and they reverse positions a couple of times. Koreshkov steps back and just misses with a spinning wheel kick. 10-9 Koreshkov.

Round 2 – Koreshkov with a couple of straight rights. Jasper tries to fire back but eats a spinning kick. He’s just out of range with his shots. which Koreshkov is easily avoiding by leaning out a bit. Koreshkov with a leg kick, and they both miss with winging shots. Koreshkov lands a big right and Jasper bails and resets. Jasper lands a punch to the chest. Jasper lands a wide left hook but eats a counter. Koreshkov spins again and lands. Koreshkov lands a combo and Jasper is stunned. Koreshkov looks for a takedown, which seems like not the best idea. He gets it though with a minute to go. 10-9 Koreshkov.

Round 3 – Body kick from Koreshkov. They clinch up. Jasper with a couple of knees. Koreshkov gets a takedown. He stays there for a while, landing enough to keep the position. Jasper eventually gets up, but gets dragged back down again. Koreshkov tries to close strong, but there’s not a lot happening. 10-9 and 30-27 Koreshkov, but that was not his strongest performance.

Andrey Koreshkov defeated Mike Japser via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Keith Berry vs. Joe Schilling

Round 1 – Schilling with a left. A hard leg kick stumbles Berry and he goes to his back. Schilling jumps into his guard, but backs out semi-quickly. They clinch. Berry with a takedown into side control. Schilling rolls to his side and gets up. Inside leg kick buckles Berry again. Berry is cut on the cheek. Berry lands a right as Schilling cracks him with an inside leg kick again. Berry lands a left and an inside leg kick of his own. Berry with another takedown before the horn. 10-9 Berry.

Round 2 – They trade kicks. Body kick from Schilling. Berry ducks under and scores with a double leg. Berry is in his full guard against the cage. Berry kind of backed out of guard and let Schilling up halfway through the round. Eye poke from Schilling, but they keep going. They both land left hooks. Schilling with a hard outside leg kick. Schilling with a shovel hook and a straight left. Berry kicks the front leg. Snap uppercut from Schilling. 10-9 Schilling.

Round 3 – Hard inside leg kick from Schilling. Berry clinches and hits a trip takedown right into mount. Schilling trying to lock him down. Schilling hip bumps his way out and ends up in top position. He lands a few punches. Short right from Schilling lands hard. Berry is wearing the crimson mask. Schilling with two elbow. Another. Berry is just surviving at this point. They go to the horn. 10-9 and 29-28 Schilling.
