Bellator 225 “Mitrione vs. Kharitonov 2” takes place TONIGHT at Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The line-up is loaded with Heavyweight talent including a main event rematch between Matt Mitrione (13-6, 1 NC) and Sergei Kharitonov (29-7, 2 NC).
The card was also set to feature a slugfest between former Bellator champion Vitaly Minakov (21-1) and Javy Ayala (11-7), but late today Bellator MMA announced this news.

MMA Fighting received word that Ayala was pulled from the card “on the advice of the Connecticut Boxing Commission.” It’s unclear how Johnson’s original opponent Azunna Anyanwu (15-5) will fare in this shake up as he made weight yesterday with no problem. Click here for the updated card.
