Check out the fight card and bout order for Saturday’s Bellator 232: MacDonald vs. Lima show in Uncasville, CT.
Bellator MMA has a big event this Saturday, October 26th at the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut. In the main event, welterweight champion Rory MacDonald defends his title in a rematch against Douglas Lima, whom MacDonald beat to capture the belt last year. This is also obviously the final of the eight-man welterweight tournament, with a $1 million prize awaiting the winner.
The co-main event pits Paul Daley against Saad Awad in a 175 lbs catchweight, as Awad replaces the injured Sabah Homasi on short notice. Bantamweight contender Patrick Mix, heavyweight veteran Javy Ayala, and lightweight veteran Nick Newell round out the main card in their respective bouts.
For the record, Bellator 231 is Friday night on Paramount Network/DAZN, and the main event is a rematch between faded heavyweights Frank Mir and Roy Nelson. Needless to say, Saturday gets most of the spotlight.
