Join us tonight on Bloody Elbow for live results and detailed play-by-play as Bellator 243 goes down in the Mohegan Sun Resort and Casino in Uncasville, CT.

The headliner for the card is a lightweight rematch between former champ Michael Chandler and former UFC champ Benson Henderson. Chandler took a close split decision in their first fight back in 2016, so they’re going to run it back. The co-main is a heavyweight showdown between Matt Mitrione and Timothy Johnson.

The prelims will be streamed live here on Bloody Elbow, starting at 7:15pm ET. The show will then move over to DAZN at 10pm ET for the main card. The event will also air on the Paramount network.

Michael Chandler vs. Benson Henderson

Round 1 – Low kick from Henderson. Body kick from Chandler. Bendo with a 1-2. Chandler with two low kicks. Jab from Chandler. They’re busy early. Henderson with a counter right, and a nice combo. Overhand right and a body kick. Chandler caught the kick and just missed with a big shot. Chandler with a counter left. Low kick and body kick from Chandler. A straight left rom Chandler drops Henderson! One followup shot and it’s over! WHOA!

Matt Mitrione vs. Timothy Johnson

Round 1 – Nothing happening early. Johnson bullrushes Mitrione as he throws a kick and knocks him down. He actually ran his head right into Meathead’s jaw. Johnson works from side. He’s landing a few hammerfists but Mitrione is mostly covering up. They stayed in side for a while. Mitrione tried to finally get up, but Johnson got him against the cage and unloaded with a bunch of huge shots. Mitrione didn’t absorb many but he was stuck and couldn’t fully defend. So the ref stepped in.

Timothy Johnson defeated Matt Mitrione via TKO (strikes), 3:14 of round 1.

Myles Jury vs. Georgi Karakhanyan

Round 1 – Lead left from Karakhanyan. Lead right now. Low kick. Body kick from Jury. Low kick from Karakhanyan. Jury with a front kick but eats a right. Both land low kicks. Inside leg kick from Jury. Jury checks a kick. Jury with a straight right. They tie up against the fence. Karakhanyan lands a few knees to the thigh but can’t get a takedown. They break with 1:45 to go.Jab from Jury, low kick from Georgi. Jury with a counter right as Karakhanyan pushes him against the fence again. Nice knee from Jury on the break. Another. Elbow as well. Karakhanyan with a hard right. 10-9 Karakhanyan.

Round 2 – Body kick from Jury. Leg kick. He checks two Karakhanyan kicks. Overhand right from Karakhanyan. Jab from Jury. Two front kicks from Jury. Jury circles out with a right. Karakhanyan with a combo inside and they clinch. Thigh strikes from Karakhanyan. Front kick from Jury and a jab. Nice left. Front kick again spins Karakhanyan around. Hard knee to the body. Left over the top from Karakhanyan. He scoops a single but can’t get Jury down. Jury cracks him. Karakhanyan gets Jury to his butt with 1:40 to go but he’s up quick. Karakhanyan is stuck to his back, but Jury spins. Clinch battle. Elbow from Jury. Two rights from Karakhanyan. Karakhanyan gets another takedown but Jury is up again. 10-9 Jury.

Round 3 – Low kick from Karakhanyan. Jab from Jury. Quick left from Karakhanyan. Elbow from Jury. Another elbow. Karakhanyan shoots. Jury spins away. Another elbow as Georgi throws a kick. Karakhanyan continues to look for the takedown. He gets it, albeit briefly. Hard elbow from Jury. Knee and another elbow. Even more. Wow. Karakhanyan drops for a guillotine against the cage. It looked deep but he’s out. Jury on top with two minutes to go. Elbow. He jumps over onto Karakhanyan’s back. They’re in a strange position. Jury only has one hook. They squirm back into Karakhanyan’s full guard. Elbow from Jury. Body shots. Two more elbows. Jury very active on top down the stretch. Karakhanyan pushes him off but Jury pins him on the fence. 10-9 and 29-28 Jury.

Myles Jury defeated Georgi Karakhanyan via split decision (27-30, 30-27, 29-28)

Sabah Homasi vs. Curtis Millender

Round 1 – low kicks from each men. They trade rights. Low kicks again. Head kick is blocked. Right over the top from Homasi. Body kick as well. Front kick from Millender. Millender with a jab. Two hard kicks. Homasi charges across the cage with a takedown. Heel kicks from the bottom from Millender. Hard elbow from Homasi. Not much else going on. 10-9 Homasi.

Round 2 – Overhand right from Homasi. Jab from Millender. Two high kicks from Homasi. Homasi looks for a foot sweep but can’t get it. He gets Millender down anyway though, and works in half. He’s landing enough to stay there but isn’t don’t much. He tries to pass to side but can’t get past Millender’s long legs. Few punches. Back to full guard. Homasi stacks him and lands a right. Millender looks for a triangle but Homasi spins him over. He has the legs triangled with a strange back position, but stepped over and lost it. Millender on top now with 50 seconds to go. Millender spins and looks for his D’Arce, but Homasi immediately squirms away and ends up on top. 10-9 Homasi.

Round 3 – Jab from Millender. Low kicks from Homasi. Millender clinches. Homasi spins away as he avoids a head kick. Homasi with a lead right hook. Millender showing some urgency. He lands two rights and a jab. Three more and he misses with a kick. Homasi shoots. Millender secures the D’Arce. Homasi keeps rolling to defend, and he pops out on top in half guard. They’re back up. Millender pressuring again with two minutes to go. They fall to the mat but Homasi ends up on top. Homasi takes the back. Both hooks. Millender is trying to spin into guard but Homasi rides him. Now he’s looking for an armbar. Hammerfists from Millender. He’s on top but it’s way too late. 10-9 Millender but 29-28 Homasi.
